Privacy and data processing policy

1. Scope and legal framework

This policy explains how I handle the personal data you give me through this website (cristellmoz.com.do), WhatsApp and my other service channels. It applies in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic, in particular Law No. 172-13 on the Comprehensive Protection of Personal Data.

2. Data controller

3. What data I collect

What you give me in the forms: first and last name, phone, email, property type, budget, the city where you live (if you provide it) and any comments you write.
What comes up in conversation: the information you share by WhatsApp, phone or email so I can follow up.
Browsing data: I use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel, which collect pseudonymous data about site and ad usage. I explain this in the cookie policy.

When you submit a form, two things happen: WhatsApp opens with your message ready and, at the same time, the details you entered are saved in my contact database (a Google spreadsheet and my customer relationship management system, or CRM). That way your request is not lost even if you don't end up sending the WhatsApp message. The page you wrote from is also recorded and, if you arrived through an ad, the source campaign.

4. What I use it for

Answering your inquiry and following up personally about buying, selling, renting or investing.
Managing and coordinating the real estate services you request: search, visits, promotion, negotiation and closing.
Keeping an organized record of interested people in order to follow up with them.
Assigning your request, when necessary, to authorized advisors in the Plusval network to serve you better.
Complying with the legal and due diligence obligations that apply to the Dominican real estate sector.

5. Who I share it with

I do not sell, transfer or rent your personal data. I only share it, under a duty of confidentiality, with:

Advisors in the Plusval network who take part in your transaction.
The providers that host my contact database (Google and the CRM I use), who process the data on my behalf and cannot use it for their own purposes.
The entities essential to formalize and close a transaction: banks, trust companies, appraisers, lawyers and notaries.
Authorities, when a law or a competent order requires it.

Information about the properties being promoted (features, photographs and commercial terms) is part of the public offering and may be displayed on this site, on Plusval, on partner portals and on social media. This does not include the owner's personal data without their authorization.

6. How long I keep it

For as long as there is a business relationship or an open inquiry, and afterwards for the time needed to meet legal obligations or handle claims related to completed transactions.

7. Security

I apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or misuse.

8. Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, update or correct it, or ask for it to be removed from my business contact lists.

To exercise these rights, send a request to cmejia@plusval.com.do stating your name, a way to verify your identity and what you need. I will respond within ten (10) business days, except for records that must be kept by law in connection with completed transactions.

9. Third-party services

When you write to me on WhatsApp, your messages are also governed by WhatsApp's (Meta's) privacy policy. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and icons from an external service; these providers may log your IP address when serving those files.

10. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy when my services or the law change. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
