Documents worth having on hand
Having them ready speeds up the sale. If one is missing, I'll tell you how to get it.
- Certificate of title for the property
- ID card (cédula) or passport of the owners
- Certificate of the property's legal status
- Proof that property taxes are up to date (IPI, if applicable)
- If there is a mortgage, the outstanding balance with the bank

How long does it take to sell a property?
It depends on the area, the condition of the property and, above all, the price. A price in line with the market is what shortens the sale the most.
How much do you charge?
I explain my fees and what they include in our first conversation, before you sign anything.
Can I sell if I still owe on the mortgage?
Yes, it's common. At closing the debt with the bank is paid off and the rest of the money is yours. The lawyer and the bank coordinate that step.
What kinds of properties do you sell?
